Tuckerton Seaport and Baymen’s Museum
So not only did we just move. But with baby girl gone at school all day…me and baby boy are doing our best to stay busy and having a lot of fun.
We are having a great time exploring together.
So we have been slacking on going to the gym together. He is not only in his terrible, terrible twos but he is severely attached to me and I can not stand to hear him cry at the gym daycare so we haven’t gone for a while. At first, I welcomed the break but I am starting to miss it and I am thinking maybe I should start pushing him to be away from me (well not too far). But that’s another story.
With this beautiful fall weather, I wanted to spend some time outdoors in the fresh air. We have been to the nearby zoo… and I also googled a nearby farm and it was closed when we got there so I had to think fast because cranky pants wanted to get out of his car seat and quick.
Tuckerton Seaport and Baymen’s Museum
I found Tuckerton Seaport and Baymen’s Museum was the closest and at first I was a little disappointed because it was such a beautiful day and I didn’t want to be inside.
Well, let me tell you.
I ENDED UP BUYING A MEMBERSHIP FOR THE YEAR!
There is a gorgeous boardwalk with so many exhibits all along it. All little houses that you can go into and check out. The best part is all the stuff that you are able to touch and play with! Because I mean come on my little guy is two years old and there isn’t anything he doesn’t want to get his little hands on.
We didn’t even get to everything today. We visited the clam house. We played on the playground for a minute. We played mini golf. We definitely ran along the boardwalk.
There is a small little farm with the friendliest goats and sheep. And some chickens.
I can’t wait to go back with my daughter because they had a great arts and crafts section that I know she will just love!
They also are having a haunted seaport night. So I am definitely looking forward to that and doing all the other holiday fun festivals there 🙂
So happy I found this place!
