So lately, I feel very bored with my dinner menu. I really love cooking but I feel like I have been in a rut and every day saying to myself, “ugh, what am I going to cook tonight??”
So first off, I found this awesome decorative board at Michael’s and I am obsessed with it!
I can’t stand making the same dinners all the time but I honestly hate following recipes, measuring out and not knowing the steps by heart. I am more of a handful of this, and a pinch of that type of chef.
If a new recipe has too many ingredients that I don’t have on hand or too many steps, it just isn’t happening.
So here is my proposed menu for the week. Very simple and basic.

I couldn’t think of anything fun to do for dinner on Saturday, which is always up in the air anyways because we are always out and about.
So here is my full menu with sides.
What’s on the Menu Monday?
Sunday – Turkey Burgers – with a side of homemade mac and cheese.
Monday – Taquitos – with a side of yellow rice
Tuesday- Salmon – grill in the oven with a little bit of salt and that is it! Serving with asparagus and brown rice on the side.
Wednesday – Spicy Crab Salad – Thinly sliced cucumbers with imitation crab meat and a homemade spicy mayo dressing. (This is one of my favorites and I plan on sharing the full recipe on Wednesday morning. It is just like the spicy kani salad you get at a sushi place. )
Thursday – Pasta and Shrimp – just going to saute some shrimp in garlic and olive oil and throw on top of spaghetti for a really quick dinner.
Friday – Make your own Pizza – I recently bought yeast at the store to try out and was surprised at how much easier it was to work with than I thought. It really doesn’t need much time to rise but I do like to make my dough the night before. If you don’t want to make the dough, you can usually find it at Shoprite for just a dollar!

Saturday – open for suggestions!
Have a beautiful week!
