Whenever we paint in our house, it turns into a paint party.
My daughter absolutely loves to paint her hands (and as far up her arms as we let her) and make her little hand prints on all her masterpieces.
I love it because I get to turn all her hand prints into crafts and decorations.
Growing up, I always remember sitting around the kitchen table and making drawings and decorations for all the holidays. We would hang them in our front window. Halloween pictures, Easter, St Patrick’s Day, all of it. It was something I always looked forward to doing. My kids are still a little young but we still try to do it all the time.
Honestly, I wish I had a little bit more skill in the interior designing aspect of my house. Putting up my kid’s artwork works just fine for me instead.
Hand print St. Patrick’s Day Craft
Look at this lucky 4 leaf clover we made!
We had about 4 sets of hand prints after a night of painting and I couldn’t let them go to waste.
Then, we finger painted a piece of paper green. I cut out all the hand prints and I am sorry to say that this was my attempt at a 4 leaf clover. However, I still think it came out adorable!
Hey, its about the memories right. The paint will wash away but these are the things we will remember doing together!
Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
