I hope everyone enjoyed father’s day and all the special men in your lives.
This week I am trying a lot of new recipes that I have never made. I am trying to use all the ingredients that I have in the fridge before making a grocery store trip!

Sunday – Grill Day – I mean I feel like it’s an unwritten law that you have to grill on Father’s Day. We made some delicious leg quarters on the grill and had a bunch of snacks!
Monday – Cauliflower Rice – So this was a little bit of an experiment. I was trying to do a southwest take on this cauliflower rice. I put it in the food processor to rice it. Then I sauteed it on a pan with salt, pepper, olive oil and sazon. Added some ground turkey and some black beans to make it a little heartier. Again, I failed on the rice texture lol. But still delicious.
Tuesday – Broccoli Salad – Bacon and Broccoli. You’re welcome. Chop up some raw broccoli and add bacon, red onion, and toss with your favorite dressing. You can also add some craisins or some walnuts for a little sweetness and crunch!
What’s on the Menu Monday XII?
Wednesday – Yakitori – Japanese style skewered meat! Yakitori always reminds me of the food street markets in Japan! Time for a trip, but until then i’ll have to settle for making my own. Also, feel free to make some veggie skewers to go on the side!
Thursday – Wing Night – Wings are one of my favorites! We are going to make buffalo wings and serve with some celery, carrots and bleu cheese or ranch!
Friday – Crockpot Chowder – Don’t forget how amazing the crock pot is this summer!! I love getting dinner prep done in the morning! Here is my favorite chowder recipe… slow-cooker-spicy-shrimp-chowder/
Saturday – Stuffed Chicken – I am going to use chicken breasts for this dinner. Fill and roll them up with sliced mushrooms and gouda cheese. So kinda like a stuffed chicken cheese steak. Perfect to pair with asparagus and you can bake them both in the oven. This is also a great recipe because you can make it in the morning and just pop it in when you are ready for dinner.
See you next week 🙂
