Stay at home mom gone wild. I think it’s time for a quick update. We had a crazy busy summer. I can not believe we are back to school and already mid way through October!
Both of my kids are in school. This stay at home mom is now taking time to catch up on things around the house. Getting back into cooking, creating new and great meals which is literally like my form of therapy. Organizing and cleaning out messy closets and de-cluttering, and to be honest having some much needed mommy alone time.
I am trying to get into a routine of getting to the gym in the morning. I usually doing a quick round up of the house and make my way there. Even if I don’t feel like working out, it is nice to walk slowly on the treadmill and listen to some music.

I have gotten really into list making. I feel like if I don’t, I am all over the place worrying about what I need to remember to do, pick up, what is due for the kids, etc. It really helps and feels great crossing items off the list!!
I love that I have the time to get chores done, dinner prepared, and cleaning all before my kids get home from school. It is a great feeling to just be able to hang out and play. Not worry about stuff getting done. But let’s be serious. A whole new list begins when they get home, unpacking their bags and of course getting them fed…AGAIN! I do miss having my little errand buddy and our adventures together. Sometimes it is so strange going places alone. I’m like, but who am I?
