This post is brought to you by our sponsor, “Always Eat After 7 PM”. The opinions expressed below are my own.

How am I doing with the “Always Eat After 7PM” challenge? My number one goal is to be the strongest and healthiest version of myself. For the most part, I eat healthy. I cook everyday. I am always creating new recipes to get more veggies into meals. And that is something that I enjoy doing for myself and my family. But I am human and I love my snacks.

The biggest change I have made to my diet is adding BIOTRUST® LOW CARB — PROTEIN POWDER BLEND. Which is usually my first meal of the day.

I have been experimenting with all the different ways I can incorporate the powder into my meals and drinks. So far this is my favorite.

Use 1 scoop of the Vanilla Cream protein powder, 1/2 cup of water, and 2 tablespoons of chia seeds. Let that sit over night in fridge. When I am ready for lunch I throw that in the blender and add frozen berries and a little more water. It comes out in a sorbet texture and is so delicious. It’s almost like a dessert. Perfect summer lunch.

I would trade eating later at night over having breakfast, any day of the week. And that’s what I am allowed to do with “Always Eat after 7PM.”

Which brings me to one of my favorite parts of this book.

Always Eat After 7 PM Book Update

“Going without breakfast is part of intermittent fasting (IF), also called time-restricted feeding (TRF). IF is a pattern of food consumption that cycles between fasting and eating in specific time periods. There are various ways to do it; one of the most common is the 16/8 protocol, which involves 16 hours of fasting—typically done overnight—with an 8-hour window in which to eat each day.”

We’ve been traditionally taught to avoid carbs, have an early dinner, and never eat before bed. But the fact is, the latest scientific research shows us this earlier model is not the most ideal.

Based on surprising science, Always Eat After 7 PM debunks popular diet myths and offers an easy-to-follow diet that accelerates fat-burning and allows you to indulge in your most intense food cravings: Eating the majority of your calories at night.
