Spaghetti Squash Bolognese Boats
This is the perfect recipe if you have leftover bolognese sauce. Or even if you just have leftover marinara sauce. All you have to do is saute some ground meat for your red sauce. Then we can build our boats. I like to use ground turkey meat for this healthy recipe.

What you need:
Spaghetti Squash
Leftover Bolognese Sauce
Pepper Jack Cheese
Olive oil, salt, pepper, crushed red pepper
Spaghetti Squash Bolognese Boats
What to do:
Step 1 – Cut spaghetti squash in half. Scoop out the insides and the seeds. Season the inside of the squash with olive oil, salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper. Flip face down on a baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Or until the skin is a little bit softer to the touch.

Step 2 – Next, fill each half of the spaghetti squash with your meat sauce. Top with pepper jack cheese. Bake in the oven again at 350 degrees for another 15 minutes. Or until the cheese is melted.

I wish I had shredded the cheese because the picture isn’t so pretty but it tastes delicious, I promise! (I am never sure if my recipe experiments are going to be keepers so that’s what happened there lol)

Messy but so yummy.
