First off, thank you so much for being a part of my motherhood journey.
When I first started this blog, I just had my second child, my son. My daughter was only 15 months old. It was official. I was a mom of 2 under 2.
Completely overwhelmed, excited, nervous and happier than I had ever been. Terrified, I wanted to start a blog and share my life. I know what you are probably thinking…if you were so overwhelmed why on earth would you want to give yourself another job??
The truth is…this blog has connected me to people in ways I would have never imagined. Other mothers of course, grandparents, we can’t forget the dads, but even people without children who just want to share a good laugh or recipe! It has given me so much and gotten me through the rough days. There were some days when I wouldn’t even have time (or care enough) to change out of my pajamas between pumping and running between my newborn and 15 month old. But if I shared my crazy day, even just to put it on “paper,” it would give me a sense a relief. Most times it would drive me to laugh at myself. Reminding me to stop talking life so seriously and enjoy every moment with your babies. Sure they throw up on you and poop up their backs but those babies don’t stay little forever.
My daughter is now almost 3 years old and my son is 19 months old. A lot has changed. The time has flown by. But one thing is for sure. I’m still tired as a mother! 🙂
